Aromatherapy
"Aromatherapy is the controlled use of essential oils to maintain and promote the health and vitality of the spirit, the emotions, and the physical body."  -Shirley Price

What are essential oils?
Essential oils are extracted from plant material through steam disitillation, expression, or solvent extraction.  Pure, 100% therapuetic-grade essential oils are very concentrated, highly aromatic and prized for a variety of characteristics, such as antiseptic, antiinflammatory, calming, stimulating, analgesic, or balancing, to name a few.

They are not synthetic fragrances, and many people that cannot tolerate commercially perfumed goods utilize and enjoy pure essential oils.

How I use essential oils in my reflexology practice:
There are a number of ways one can employ the therapeutic benefits of essential oils.  The ways I utilize essential oils in my reflexology practice are through inhalation, hot or cool foot baths, or dermal application to the hands or feet.  These aromatherapy services are available as an "add-on" to a reflexology session.  Aromatherapy services include the following:

~Make It Essential! ~ $5 add-on
Would you like more focus?  Need to calm nerves?  Or, just adore the scent of ylang-ylang?  Add aromatherapy to your reflexology session for additional benefits.  Under the guidance of the aromatherapist, you'll choose an essential oil from our 100% pure, therapeutic-grade line to enhance your session.

~Aromatic Foot Bath ~ $10 add-on
Allow an additional 10-15 minutes
Take a longer break from your busy life and treat yourself to a soothing foot soak.  Choose an essential oil to add to our special blend of soaking salts that cleanse and deodorize the feet.

~Aromatherapy Consultation ~ $20 add-on
Allow an additional 30 minutes
Add an aromatherapy consultation to your reflexology session for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.  Based on your present needs and your health history, Anne will create for you a personalized blend of  100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils.  The synergistic blend will be used in your reflexology session, and the remaining oil (about 5ml) will be bottled up for you to take home and enjoy.
